Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in giving back to the club you love? We can always use your help! We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with a wide range of activities. If any of these tasks interest you, please contact us at club@ctultimate.com. Thank you!
1. High School League Tournament Help: We plan to run up to 3 tournaments this year in the CTUL, and can use volunteers to help with tournament day activities. This activity gives interested volunteers a good experience at running a tournament. Field setup, team registration, score reporting, we can use your help!
2. Outreach / Recruitment: When it comes to recruiting more players, the more word we can get out, the better. This year, we have crafted a standard flier that can easily be posted on bulletin boards or emailed to friends. Do you have access to a local college campus? Your gym? Church? Workplace? Please download this flier and post it wherever you can. Send us a note when you have posted it anywhere so we know.
3. Social Events: There currently exists a dedicated band of CUC members in the CUC Social Committee. This committee is entrusted to devise and run social events for the club throughout the year as they see fit. Do you have an idea that might interest club members, or want to assist the committee? Please let us know!
4. Tournament Setup / Cleanup: The summer league tournament is the biggest event of the season and requires a lot of planning and preparation. Are you interested in helping out in any way?
5. Clinics: Our pre-season skills clinics are important teaching venues for new players. We need players who are experienced and/or organized to help us run these events. Our 2013 clinics are tentatively scheduled for dates in early and mid May.
