What is Ultimate?

Ultimate is a sport that combines the athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football and the defensive agility of basketball. It is played by two seven player squads with a plastic disc on a 120 x 40 yard field. The object of the game is to score by catching a pass in the opponent's end zone.  The disc is advanced up the field by players passing it back and forth between teammates. Ultimate is governed by "Spirit of the Game", a tradition of sportsmanship that places the responsibility for fair play on the players rather than referees.

The three biggest reasons why people play ultimate are Ultimate is FUN!, Ultimate keeps you active and helps you stay healthy, and most importantly, Ultimate provides a GREAT social scene.
